This website is for “parent” churches in the RCA who are actively, or seeking to parent(ing) new church plants.

The Reformed Church in America seeks to double the number of parent churches (churches that plant churches) every two years. From about 20 churches in 2004 who had the mindset and behavior of planting churches, to over 65 in 2007, momentum is increasing. The catalytic “One Thing” event for parent churches will seek to bring the next 80 churches into a specific vision and plan to reproduce, plus coaching and a network to support the process. We seek 150 reproducing RCA churches by the end of 2009, 300 by the end of 2011, and 600 by the end of 2013.
