The Reformed Church in America seeks to double the number of parent churches (churches that plant churches) every two years. From about 20 churches in 2004 who had the mindset and behavior of planting churches, to over 65 in 2007, momentum is increasing. The catalytic "One Thing" event for parent churches will seek to bring the next 80 churches into a specific vision and plan to reproduce, plus coaching and a network to support the process. We seek 150 reproducing RCA churches by the end of 2009, 300 by the end of 2011, and 600 by the end of 2013. Check out more at www.rca.org under the Multiply tab or email tvink@rca.org for Tim Vink, Coordinator of Church Multiplication for the RCA.

The One Thing gathering will play host to potentially 80 or more church leaders planning to continue or become a church that plants churches. Led by RCA innovators in this area of church reproduction since 2004, the team of 12 will seek to provide coaching in networks for the following 24 months after San Antonio as well. Speak to your regional executive to be invited on scholarship and for details, before Nov. 1 to reserve a place for sure.
